About PG95...
We are a group of Physics Graduates from Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (1995).
In order to continue and maintain our friendship after graduate, we applied a .org.hk domain name in 1996, and put a web server on the Internet. We applied another .com domain name in 2000.
The web server had servial function:
PG95 info. page provide our classmates latest information such as mobile phone, pager, home Address, birthday, etc. In the past, we will gather our info. and print a list to our classmate every haft year which is always outdated. Now people can update the list any time and we can got the lastest info.
PG95 e-mail page provide web-mail service to our classmate. Whenever you update your e-mail address, the mailling list pg95@pg95.com will update also. Up to now there are about 34 classmate included in the mailling list. People can also send and check mail using our webmail function. And we recorded all pg95 mail so that people can check them when their own mail account had problem.
PG95 webfolder is a place for us to share the joy of our activity such as our classmate's merrage, our basketball match, cycling, beach....which I thick is the most beautiful and meaningful part among the pg95 page.
EIGEN, actually is our basketball team name. It established on Oct 1993 and there are 15 people who are EIGEN members. We had already bought two set of basketball shirt and having over 50 matches (public and inside) and countless training. We now still have regular traning so a page for anouncement is needed.
Event page, the highest hit rate page. It is a bulletin board system, for classmate to post suggestion and activity. People can add their word to each event and we can know the most updated information about each event there.
P.S. Why .com? Well, it's just for people more easy to remember...
